Balthasar Dankwart

I - (or Danquart) (died c. 1622 or c. 1651) Senior house makers, worked in Vilnius. John Dankwart, pre sumably the son of Baltazar I worked in Warsaw. Balthazar Dankwar t II, probably the son of John, 1620-1682, active in Vilnius. His torians of violin-making because of the scarcity of documents about people DankwartĂłw based on a study of surviving instruments. Preserved both BaltazarĂłw few instruments in the Museum of Musical Instruments in Poznan. Violin Baltazar Dankwart I recall the construction of the violin Marcin Groblicz.
